Rates
NY Loves Dogs provides top-notch dog care at affordable prices. As each dog and each situation is unique we will discuss your dog’s needs and determine the cost based on that.
Generally rates vary between $20-35 dependent on the time and nature of your dog’s walk. We offer all types of walks including:
- Relief walks (15 minute walks for the dog to relieve themselves)
- 30 minute walks
- 1 hour walks
- 2 hour fun walks
Please note, walks before 9am and after 5pm along with weekend walks have a $5 surcharge and more than one dog in a household is an additional fee as well.
We do offer in-home pet sitting and have sterling references to attest to it. Pet-sitting is when someone stays in your home and takes care of your pet while you are away. It’s a great way to keep your dog’s routine in sync. This service is $65 per night and discounts are available for long periods of time.
Information
Once we agree to the type and time for your pooch’s walk we will do our best to adhere to that outline. However, we ask for a small window for extraneous circumstances such as rain, snow, heat or possibly handling a dog emergency.
Since dogs thrive on routine we try to establish your dog’s exercise schedule pretty quickly. Based on his temperament we will determine if he is happiest walking with other dogs, going to the dog run, going to the Park or simply strolling around the area. Each dog is different and we will ensure your dog does what he wants to do on his walk. Additionally we are available to walk dogs to groomers, veterinarians or friends’ apartments within a reasonable radius.
We are happy to provide daily notes, email pictures or call after your dog’s walk. Our goal is to provide loving, trust-worthy, flexible, reliable care for your dog – whatever it takes to do that, we will do.
